We learned a lot in our fourth week of school! We learned about the main idea and details of a story by looking through bags of goodies. The goodies inside were the details and the kids had to figure out what they all had in common to find the main idea. We also learned about action verbs by creating a verb action hero and having a verb relay race. We learned about magnets in science and practiced centers. To gain more practice with verbs, and to work on our writing skills, we did an Angry Verbs writing project. It was a great week!

We will be singing at church this Sunday at the 8am service. Please have your child meet in the church basement at 7:45am.
Next week is a short week! We will get out of school at 12pm on Thursday, and there is no school Friday.
