Compound Word Day from last week! The kids had some creative compound words!

In science this week, we did various experiments testing out gravity, forces, motion, and friction. In this particular experiment, we learned that the marble traveling on the construction paper road moved faster than the marble on the sand paper road. This result was caused by friction!

In math on Thursday, we learned how helpful it is to make equal sized groups. This was an intro unit to multiplication. Our curriculum will continue touching on multiplication every once in a while throughout the rest of the school year.

At the pep rally on Thursday. Go Bobcats! Safe travels to anyone traveling for state basketball this weekend!
