Looking Ahead to Next Week:

Spelling: ock/out: clock, blocked, dock, shock, stock, knock, about, shout, scouting, sprouted
Grammar: Prefixes and Suffixes
Reading: We will be reading several different fractured fairytales and comparing and contrasting them with the original versions of the story.
Math: We will have a math test on Wednesday. We are up to 90 subtraction facts. The goal is to have them finished in 6 minutes.
Social Studies: How Communities Change Over Time
Writing: The kids will be working on writing their own fractured fairytale

Looking for geometric solids in our classroom

Mrs. Smith from the St. Louis Dairy Council stopped by our classroom to talk with us about our adopted cow, Oreo. The kids were able to share everything they've learned about dairy farms and cows.
